More Fun. More Connection. More Blackhawk Spirit.

Some of the best parts of the school year happen outside the classroom, and PTO is here to make sure there are plenty of them.

We’re talking family nights, fundraisers, school traditions, treats for our teachers, kids running around with their friends, grown-ups actually getting to know each other, and the occasional event that involves entirely too much tape, caffeine, or someone asking, “Whose idea was this again?” (Probably ours.)

But underneath all the fun is something we really care about: building a school community where our kids feel excited to belong, our teachers and staff feel supported, and families feel like they’re part of what makes Sheridan Elementary special.

Take a peek at what’s coming up, mark your calendar, bring the kids, volunteer when you can, and come have some fun with us. You don’t have to do everything to be part of PTO. Sometimes just showing up is the whole thing.

One important grown-up note: Anyone volunteering inside the school building or working directly with students must complete a Safe Visitor background check through Sheridan Community Schools before volunteering.
